Hands of Grace
Grace Felder
Grace began working with leather over 20 years ago while living in California. After she and her family moved to San Angelo, Grace wanted to start a business that produced leather home décor products. Grace attended many seminars offered by the Angelo State University ∙ Small Business Development Center. She also began work on a business plan.
After much work and several meetings with Advisor Paul Howard she completed a very nice plan. Grace entered the Business Plan Competition sponsored by the Concho Valley Center for Entrepreneurial Development and won second place. She now had some capital to start her business. Grace said, “The seminars and training were invaluable while preparing my business plan.” She added, “The constant support and availability of my primary advisor throughout the process and research information provided was remarkable.”
Hands of Grace is a home based business with plans to expand to a larger facility in the future. The business created four new jobs and a small manufacturing firm for San Angelo and the Concho Valley.
